BFF SAL 19 - come to the Dark Side, we have cookies!

This currently resembles a chocolate cookie with writing!

Our technology was being hit and miss tonight so at times we lost track of discussion and had to revisit, but it's always good to catch up and spend some time together,  even in virtual capacity. 

We're quite enjoying the freedom and simplicity offered by our cover kit collections.

BFF SAL 19 - When is a yellow not a yellow?

A new start, a kit again by our old favourite Durene Jones. 

Tell me what colour you see at the bottom left of this picture. The artist would disagree with me... humph. It's supposedly light orange.  It's ruddy yellow,  people!!

Thankfully the shades were easy distinguished,  whatever their name.

Gifted Gorgeousness May 2025

This gift has been a long time in the making, and also some time awaiting a finish. 

My BFF got me this several years ago, of which she has no memory LOL. 

The corner join of the cord is at perhaps a slightly jaunty angle.  But I'm rather pleased with the finish overall especially the tassel.

And here it is before finishing for comparative size against our mini version from the cover kit pattern

It's rather nice to have a proper finish.
