BFF SAL 11 - A woman of substance

Feel like this week has been a very productive session, my person now has both jeans and a jumper.  

The jumper is my first diversion from the pattern, to add my personal colour choices. I have a plan for possibly one or two others, as there's a bigger plant to the left which is not to my taste, and there will be some added personalisation on the hair.

I think I was just so happy to be done with the chair that I was flying this week.  Nearly up to adding face and hair, will I do that next time or will I be looking at plant alternatives?

BFF SAL 11 - a mini-goal achieved

Firstly,  let me share update after my final half hour last week 

So tonight I set the goal of finishing the stitches in the chair... yay!!  Some extra bits of floor work in there too.  Next week the figure might get some attention. 

My BFF had a much more convoluted night, I'll let her share that tale here in her own words though.

Goodness February came around quickly didn't it?

I really love this little stitch from my Sweetheart, I'm not sure if that finish is in a mug. Or a pincushion, I look forward to hearing more when they post.  With both hearts and flowers it is perfect for Valentines Day.

BFF SAL 11 - New specs, who dis?

A busy day in the office while preparing to leave one team and start a new role on another.  This led to a shorter session this week.  So we both have dispensation to make up that half-hour off camera.

Add in a new start with my first varifocals this week, so my eyes were struggling a bit with the 18 count fabric.

Made a bit of progress though, and started fudging in my error from earlier.  Coming along nicely, definitely becoming clearer what they are now.

BFF SAL 11 - taking shape

Both images are beginning to show more and more detail now, for the first time I can start to see beyond the blobs on the focal area of mine (although I could always see the shape it's becoming more obvious with both sides starting to show).

Any guesses what they are yet?  I did cheat and start some backstitch this week too.
