Easter Blog Hop 2024

Welcome once again to the annual Easter Blog Hop, hosted by Jo at http://serendipitousstitching.blogspot.com.  Check out Jo's blog for a full participant list, or simply Hop between the blogs themselves.   I will share a letter, collect them all and unscramble for a mystery phrase,  post on Jo's blog and after Easter she'll tell us who got it right.

I completed this stitch way back in May last year, entirely with the Blog Hop in mind, it was a cover kit from World of Cross Stitching magazine. The bright flowers and the bunny ears make me smile every time.

BFF SAL 14 - The First in a Series

A series of finishes that is.

Border is completed in its blackwork (albeit purplework LOL). 

Still to go - main backstitch and backstitch around the border, as well as outline on the lettering in a shade yet to be determined. 

But I'm very pleased with the outcome of step 1, and hopeful for one or two weeks more only before our next project!

BFF SAL 14 - When is a rose not a rose?

When it's a peony apparently... different genus of flower.   But in my own head, despite the title Peony Flower of Peace, it's my little Oriental Rose, and may remain so for years to come.

We estimate another 2 or 3 sessions remaining on this project,  before a mini in-between project prior to decisions on the next Big Thing.
