This week, off camera I got the sky finished, bar a solitary seagull yet to be delivered. On the SAL itself, I worked on filling gaps in the sea wall and steps. A couple of colours lacking, but as I was determined to progress those bits, then alternatives to the required thread were sourced and applied instead.
My BFF is now further ahead than me, our plan is to finish cross stitch off camera this week, and head into backstitch next week together. Otherwise there's a danger of the project stalling.
And after that?? Well, we have not chosen a next joint SAL project, so it will be Random Along again until we find something suitable. Which is good as I'm feeling the mounting pressure of a looming deadline on a personal project.
