A series of finishes that is.
Border is completed in its blackwork (albeit purplework LOL).
Still to go - main backstitch and backstitch around the border, as well as outline on the lettering in a shade yet to be determined.
But I'm very pleased with the outcome of step 1, and hopeful for one or two weeks more only before our next project!
