BFF RAL is taking over

Have had a rough time of cough/cold/general yuckiness lately,  so no catching up on SAL again this week.

Quite happy with how the purple flower went. Struggled a bit on the rest, to the point ofpulling something out, i think the pattern needs re-marking in places.

BFF RAL again

Honest, I'm really not putting the SAL off... just had another week beset by minor ailments which preclude stitches, and have scuppered almost every plan for this week.  I know I was feeling overwhelmed,  but this isn't how I'd have chosen to achieve downtime. 

So more progress on the bag instead.  Looks very odd where the hoop has been moved, but that will all be covered once i get done so I'm not going to stress about it.

BFF more RAL

Hubbyman has been poorly this week,  and as a consequence I still didn't play catch-up with the SAL,  and nor could I face the bitty nature on camera. 

But as our get-togethers online are much more about just being there for one another than they are about the craft, I was happy to plod a but more on the embroidered bag.

This week a new skill to me...sequins!!

After a particularly laboured bit of French knotwork, I definitely decided that the big bunch of either grapes or berries would not be getting the same treatment.  So time to bring out the sequins, these were a huge bag that my BFF gifted me many Christmas or birthdays ago.

And i think they're making a good addition to the bag.
